Historic Mount Vernon is also close by, as is the Mount Vernon Trail. Not huge job centers, but the surrounding historic attractions and bucolic scenery should give the area a boost in the long run. Nearby, the old and historic Mount Vernon High School will become a new training center for all kinds of jobs and skills. The renovation will really transform it into a beautiful community hub.
