(I was surprised that one not as close friends ended up being the most supportive in my situation.) Light events are good for taking your mind off. I had this experience. I woke up the day after finding out something and was like, oh yes, this is really, it's not a dream. Had no idea what to do. It was about a child, not my DH. Anyway, it is many years later and you take it a day at a time and if you can't, you take it a second at a time. I agree that medication will help during the worst days. Just focus on the very next moment and they add up. Honor your own feelings. The therapist i had at the time was kind of glib about the situation. It could be helpful to find a support group that is specific to the situation. I feel for you. Good luck.[/quote]
