Doping has been a part of cycling and especially the Tour since it began. Guys in the 40s and 50s were doing cocaine to fuel themselves up those mountains. Pantani committed suicide awash in drug problems. There wasn't testing, but chances are guys like Eddie Mercxx doped as well. It's ugly, but it's part of the culture of the sport. [/quote]
