The nearest DMV is a 30-minute drive, but since I don't have a driver's license, I don't drive. It would take at least three bus transfers and probably more than an hour to get there via public transportation. Adding the time spent actually at the DMV, and then the trip back, that is half of a day. If someone is working two jobs, spending half a day to do something that must be done during business hours is difficult. [/quote]
