[/quote] Dem here, I don't mind voter ID if it is implemented slowly and carefully and the State takes responsibility for ensuring that anyone potentially disenfranchised gets an ID. So this might mean accepting veteran ID, social security cards, maybe canvassing to ensure that people likely to be affected are contacted, offering free transportation to the DMV, offering free ID at the DMV, whatever we have to do.
