The only women at your age that have “visible abs” that l know aren’t doing what they are doing for that purpose. They are endurance athletes that just happen to have that as a side effect.
I'm 48 and have visible abs. My body fat is 16%. I work out 2 hours a day. I used to run 4 miles a day, but I can't now so I walk it instead. I do yoga 2x a week - think power yoga, ashtanga, or bikrum - not the fluffy lay on the floor stuff. I lift weights 2x/wk - again not the fluffy 5 lbs to tick a box - I sweat and get it done quickly because I hate weights. Then, for fun I'll rock climb or do something active like bike ride at minimum once a week, but on vacations I'll do it everyday. On top of this I watch my food. As I age this is the most difficult thing. I get cellulite by looking at icecream or smelling fries. I swear I don't even have to eat them to get fat. Basically walking won't do it. Cut your fat and build muscles. It's hard; no short cuts
