no idea, in any case prob want to sell to developers
The capital riverfront one is leased space ground floor of an new apartment building... it's already been developed. The congress heights one is owned by DC. Seems more likely that it will be sold or leased to another charter school or used as swing space than that is would be redeveloped. DC is already putting in tons of housing and other stuff at St. Es so it's not like there's a shortage of development in Congress heights already.
yeah like i said, prob wants to sell it. it isnt the shortage that is whats so peculiar but the reshuffling and not developing in place that strikes me. "we're going to take this but we have something down the way to replace it for ya" but upon closer look, the building stock is inferior to the beautiful restored turn of century building taken and it is not in the former prime locale.
