You are much better off with a $400 Joseph A. Banks suit that is tailored properly vs. something much higher end off the rack that doesn't fit well. It also depends on his build, if he's slim there are likely very good off-the-rack options, like those discussed upthread, that only require modest alteration to look good. If he's got a challenging build for some reason, it's a little harder to find something good at a low price point. [/quote]
