The nearby break-in is probably the one argument in favor of the defense that gives me a bit of a pause.
I also don't put too much stock in Scott telling Amber on December 9th that his wife was dead despite the fact that this point was hammered in the documentary. Cheating spouses make up all kinds of lies, that by itself does not mean he intended to kill her.  There's not a whole lot of difference between saying that and lying about being single.

On the other hand, when you look at every piece of evidence in totality, it's just impossible for me to believe anyone other than Scott killed her.[/quote]
