A woman I know is a huge whiner.  She is not a bad person and means well but she always has 101 reasons why she just can't (whines all the time about how she needs to exercise but how she has a stuffy nose, or didn't sleep well, or had get up and pee during the night so she just can't or complains about her weight but then whines about how she just can't do anything about it since her son is always invited to birthday parties or she has to go on vacation where there will be good food or whatever).  So, in general, not a bad person but just a "why oh why is everything so hard for me" person.

Anyway, she is newly pregnant (which I really truly do not begrudge) and had a spotting scare (which I would not wish on anyone).  Turns out things were fine but she WHINED about the "wand of shame"?! (aka sonogram) and how she "gushed" after getting her blood drawn.  I couldn't chime in and mention I've had three blood draws and sonograms (which I don't consider shameful) since Monday but boy did I want to bap her on the head.
