It can happen when this round of rights deals expires and a lot of people expect it to happen including the people who were predicting consolidation. Ohio State can't kick teams out of the B10, but they can leave to form a different conference. If we've seen anything this last round, it's that money speaks a lot louder than tradition and loyalty. When 2030 rolls around, splitting the revenue 18 or god knows how many ways vs signing a new, larger deal with teams who car carry their own weight is going to be appealing to bigger schools and networks who really don't want filler like a Minnesota Rutgers game. And FS may suck, but they get great ratings which is all tv networks care about. [/quote]
