I didn’t mean to suggest an MLSNext/ECNL kid will be able to get a practice at a la Liga club but even any club below that would still be an eye opening experience for a competitive kid since clubs are so ingrained into the culture and community. My kid has pro aspirations and I plan to have him practice with local teams in Europe. It’s either going to humble him to give up the dream and aspire for less, or motivate him to work even harder.
