OP here. You'd be wrong. I wholeheartedly support a two-party system....until extremism takes over from both sides and the only options are the extreme far right or the extreme far left which is IMHO where we are today.[/quote]

What about the Democratic platform is remotely "extreme" or even "left" by the rest if the world's standards? Dem policy stances are like the starting point for everyone else. There's a whole political spectrum to the left of them that doesn't even exist here. Democratic politicians can't even say they believe housing is a basic human right because they're just as slavish to capitalism as Republicans. There is no real "left" in this country, and I'm so beyond tired of people acting like Democrats are so extreme when truthfully, they govern almost exactly the same way as Republicans. [/quote]
