My dh very much wanted kids. When they arrived, he did all of the overnight duties and also brought them to me to nurse. I'm sorry you don't know any goid men or have close friends who would tell you about their wonderful dhs.[/quote]

Your DH may have really wanted kids, but I doubt he would have really wanted to be a single dad. He would have married someone else, not had them alone. Women will chose to do it alone but I don’t think men ever would. [/quote]

+1. PP’s DH wanted a family with kids, like a lot of men. Not the same as getting a surrogate and becoming a single dad. Which would be weird, bordering on creepy.[/quote]
