Ditto.  I am at rock bottom right now and have pulled back hard.  I have a very few close friends, none local, and have circled the wagons, so to speak.  I’ve been told over the years that I seem so capable and able to handle anything and that’s how people let themselves off the hook.  When you receive more kindness from strangers than from people for whom you’ve bent over backward, you know it’s time to stop bending.  And that’s what I’ve done.
