They get sharp! I do it myself. One is pretty chill but sometimes gets annoyed by the second paw so we take breaks. The other hates it so DH holds him while I clip or I will wrap him in a towel if I do it myself. We do get our dogs nails done professionally. Usually it’s when he’s boarded so I don’t know the cost. He has black nails with long quicks and so he’s hard to trim. [/quote]
