Also, the kids swimming are slower so that adds incremental time to every heat that then accumulates over the meet. Then add in more dq's and and such... Our B meets start at 6:30 pm and are usually done by 9 pm if we have 60 to 70 swimmers and the other team is similar size or smaller. So about 2.5 hours. Others will go longer if they have more swimmers. [/quote]
