I'll admit I was the bad friend in that I wasn't putting in what my friend was (reaching out, inviting, being open...) and they were better off without me. I've also been the one who is better off without someone actively making my life more miserable with their "good intentions" and I'm better off without them. They all hurt but as pp said, it is most painful at first and fades away with time. There are things to do, people to see and fun to be had and if she was cursing you with her absolute hatred, that fades too.[/quote]
