The coaches do not like if you train out side the club. That is money that should be going to their pockets. Also they do not want you kid to see pickup bad habits like seeing the field, technical skills, passing the ball, etc. [/quote]

When looking around, ask how they feel about outside training.  Our coach didn’t mind so much, but the Tech Director acted smug once he figured we wouldn’t be signing up for his joke of a futsal clinic again.  Then my player got demoted the following year.

It have been coincidental, but we got the sense that training outside the club was frowned upon by the TD and head coach.[/quote]
