If your kid wants to go to practice to see friends and you'll play catch/do soft toss enough that games are fun, then sure. Same with skating or dive. Gotta at least take your kid to the pool or rink. OP maybe try something you'll love doing alongside your kid? Have you introduced her to the types of exercise you enjoy? -unathletic softball pitcher mom who only learned to throw/catch to help my kids[/quote]
