You need to understand that you are not going to get more because of adultery. You will likely waste thousands trying to get more and you will stilll end up with 50/50. The days of screwing a spouse for adultery is long gone. Just get a divorce done as cheaply as possible and move on.[/quote]

This.  I’m in the process now.  Focus on the settlement and not adultery.  The adultery part will go nowhere and you’ll be poorer and angrier for it.  I interviewed several lawyers and they all said the same thing – it is not worth pursuing adultery, even with what would seem to be a rock solid case.  I understand that you want justice and satisfaction for his wrongdoings, but this isn’t how you’re going to get it.  I am so incredibly grateful to the people who let me know that early on, so I can just focus on the settlement details and getting it over as quickly and cheaply as possible.
