Spoilers here-but you missed the fact that Mary had purchased a blonde wig and outfit (Bavarian?) when she and Sheldon were in Europe and dressed up for George (even talking with an accent) so Sheldon mistakenly thought his father was with another woman when he briefly opened the door. [/quote]
