OP, there is also the “trick” of being “sick” for a test, getting a friend to tell you what was on it and then you are even better prepared for the test.  This might be what the teacher is concerned about.  I would make sure to provide a doctors note.  [/quote]

Quite some kids play the "trick" of being "sick" for a test. If their test period is #1, they will just skip it for being sick. Then they will get the test paper from friends who took it, and make it up in a few days later. [/quote]
