I hate to say it, but if you and your wife can't legally engineer paying lower than 30%, than that's your fault. Even Biden can figure out how to do it for goodness sake, and we all know it's not by giving to charity either.   Lower your taxable income by the dozens of ways that the tax code allows you to.
