I haven’t listened to the podcast but I did watch her spin-off, a million years ago. It was obviously a long time ago, but I remember having the impression that she just didn’t seem to like being married. It seemed like she latched onto Jason because he was stable, but the whole thing got old for her quickly.

I remember some episode where she was basically talking about how much she was struggling with the fact that he wanted his parents to spend some time with the baby. I know that in-law visits can be quite taxing, believe me, but taken in context of everything, it just seemed like she had no desire to be part of a larger, functioning family. I’d imagine that a functioning family was probably triggering for her, given how she grew up.

In another episode, she was crying about how Jason basically told her she was damaged and how she thought that was so over the top of him. He was probably at the end of his rope. Like someone else pointed out upthread, she’s burned through many many many people. [/quote]
