Big liberal dem here. Don't condemn an entire party because of one or two asses. (Remember Hilary Rosen and "she never worked a day in her life"?) It's not fair to paint an entire party because one or two people make stupid comments. Now I'm the first to condemn the Repubs for all the anti-reproductive freedom stuff, but that's a clear pattern of legislative behavior. While I don't see the Repubs as being welcoming to minorities, I don't think that peanut throwing is typical Repub behavior, either. Be careful about condeming because god only knows what asinine move someone might make at OUR convention next week. Heck if the Repus were smart they'd send a couple of moles and do something to make us look awful. Burn a bible on to convention floor or something.
Frankly, Rosen's words were taken out of context. Ann Romney has no idea what a working mom endures every single day. Ann Romney, with her billions of dollars, has no clue what a SAHM endures every day while balancing the check book, running errands, cleaning house, putting the baby to nap, washing clothes and cooking dinner. Someone did all of those things for Ann Romney. I am not mad at her, but she has no clue what the typical American mother encounters on a day-to-day basis whether WOH, WAH, or SAH. The actions of the GOP members were not taken out of context. It was what it was, a reflection of what many in the party believes. Those individuals just happen to act it out in public in front of a camera crew. Not very bright. The repub usually do it surreptitiously. I think that the likes of the tea-party and minute men have embolden more of them to share their racist, sexist, xenophobic views in the light.
