Frankly, Rosen's words were taken out of context. Ann Romney has no idea what a working mom endures every single day. Ann Romney, with her billions of dollars, has no clue what a SAHM endures every day while balancing the check book, running errands, cleaning house, putting the baby to nap, washing clothes and cooking dinner. Someone did all of those things for Ann Romney. I am not mad at her, but she has no clue what the typical American mother encounters on a day-to-day basis whether WOH, WAH, or SAH.

The actions of the GOP members were not taken out of context. It was what it was, a reflection of what many in the party believes. Those individuals just happen to act it out in public in front of a camera crew. Not very bright. The repub usually do it surreptitiously. I think that the likes of the tea-party and minute men have embolden more of them to share their racist, sexist, xenophobic views in the light.

There is no wanding because women spoke up and made such a huge stink that VA Gov Bob McDonnell had no choice but to remove it from the bill. The state of Va DID try to wand its citizens. I have an email from the author of the bill explaining to me that it's really not a big deal if the govt says you have to be wanded, since Planned Parenthood often wands patients anyway. see, Repubs often have a problem with distinguishing the important differences between vaginal penetration by consent, and vaginal penetration without consent, and the grey area in-between during which the penetration may not be "forcible" enough. See the recent Akin rape controversy.

A couple of jerks on the floor of the RNC doesn't make the list with me. Hilary Rosen was right. 5 kids, worth about $150MM (give or take a few million), staff of 5. I stayed home - 2 kids, worked my ass off doing laundry and cooking!
