[/quote] Uh, I think there is some garbling of cause and effect and the timeline here. There were issues that needed to be addressed. Teachers were frustrated that their voices weren't being heard. The teachers unionized. There still are issues that need to be addressed. Teachers have left along the way. In no way did the problems and teacher departures happen BECAUSE of the unionization. Some teachers stuck it out longer than they might have otherwise in hopes of faster improvement after unionization. Just wanted to clarify that point in case people get the wrong impression of what happened.[/quote]
