Older high schooler is not known to our family but going door to door for a chance to clean homes in our neighborhood. We do not know their family but my daughter is starting at the high school next Fall. DH says you never want to do that because it gives the older student there an opportunity to spread rumors or falsehoods that could impact our daughter. What are the chances that would happen? Would you hire someone who would be at the same high school?
Sheesh, I'd be impressed by the high schooler who has some hustle and wants to earn some money in the neighborhood. Why does it matter where the high schooler goes to school?
Op here. The main concern from DH perspective is any bullying, rumor spreading, etc having a freshman entering the same school as this older student who would be a senior. I get that high school has always been tough, but is it too close to home? Would you think the older girl would spread rumors? I suppose it’s based on personality which we wouldn’t know until she actively came to clean.
