Taxpayers don’t need to fund your kid being able to graduate early or that kid who failed Math because they had 40+ absences. Some of these kids also don’t realize that there are a limited number of campuses (two I think?) and not a lot of space. Key takeaway: maybe they should pass the class the first time. [/quote] There are many kids who need summer school because they struggle in school and don’t have parents with resources that can pay for expensive tutors. And, it’s far cheaper to pay for a summer school class than an extra year in school to make up failed classes. And given the effort to get to summer school, do you really think the student population is comprised of kids who don’t go to school in the first place?[/quote]
