These funds are my over so now all summer classes are paid again (unless you happen to go to a title 1 school or your school has other poverty funding.). Montgomery College summer classes are not free for MCPS students.
Also if you have an IEP. I could have sworn my child’s case manager said he could retake core classes for no charge via edmentum. I think I’d listen to your school before listening to people here.

Arent classes at MoCollege free for HS students?

Nope. Especially not free for kids who failed the first time.
Kids have gotten used to failing and “being able to take it in the summer” because it’s less work and more fun to goof off during class.
Now they get to feel the pain of failing—or at least their parents will.

Also, $350 is completely reasonable. Taxpayers don’t need to fund your kid being able to graduate early or that kid who failed Math because they had 40+ absences. Some of these kids also don’t realize that there are a limited number of campuses (two I think?) and not a lot of space. Key takeaway: maybe they should pass the class the first time.
Health ed is a dumb requirement and some kids like mine take it so they can do things they enjoy like music. Not all kids do summer school to graduate early or they failed.

Mine never did summer school and had plenty of times for electives.
