I convinced him that the independence and confidence the kids would gain, not to mention the time alone we would have, would outweigh any negatives. Kids are now in college, and wonderful memories and lifelong friends from camp. One wrote their college essay about their life changes/growing they did at camp/because of camp. Absolutely ZERO regrets from my husband now that it's after the fact. [/quote]
