Acknowledging to her that it's been really hard the past few years and you recognize that you have been ignoring her needs. Tell her specific steps you are making to change that. I also have an autistic child and a NT 13 year old. It's hard to balance everyone's needs. But this is what happens when you don't.[/quote]
