"Dumpster fire" on this board is subjective for sure. Loudoun is stable with decent management but lacks development and coaching. FCV was the opposite, and now is missing all three: management, development, and coaching. One is worse than the other at the moment. Revolution being newish brings the chance to be where FCV once was. There's no real track record for them, and their girl's side isn't known for being great.
Loudoun coaching and development is decent enough at the U-littles level with pretty good track records. FCV has never been great with the U-Littles, only girls U13+. Revolution is great for boys, but an expensive rec program for girls on a good day.
There’s definitely a reason for that. FCV develops girls to play possession and to build out of the back. You don’t win a lot of games like that when they are young because it takes time. Loudoun gets the biggest and strongest to just score goals. They don’t teach possession so they just play kickball. They win a lot when they are younger but then can’t adjust when they get older, which is why FCV is good at 13+
