My Black and Decker food processor bought in 2007 is still alive and works great. My Oster blender bought around 2012ish still works great. My Nutribullet worked for around 4-5 years but I gave up on that due to its really big cup which was hard to carry/hold in my car. Since then, whatever blenders I have bought for smoothies have gone in the trash. I think I need to stick to reputed brands rather than buying some random crappy stuff on Amazon. Thanks all for the recommendations. I am most likely going with the Vitamix 1000 smoothie maker... some of you have recommended that, so thank you. [/quote]
