I lost a taillight to an errant cart. Somebody left it sitting randomly at the top of the parking lot, which had a slight slope to it, and it rolled down the hill and landed in the back of my car. At least that's what I assume happened, I didn't see it, but I came out from grocery shopping and found the cart sitting against the back of my car and the taillight bashed in.

I was young, broke, had minimal insurance and couldn't afford a rate increase by making a claim. Car was a cheap POS, but I also didn't want to get ticketed or fail a safety inspection. The new taillight went on my credit card, which took 4 months to pay off.

If you can't put your cart away, at least make sure it's positioned such that it won't roll off into someone's car. You're not the only one struggling. [/quote]
