NO. This actually was my dumb job but I'm not making anyone's dumb job harder to feel better about myself. Another dumb job was waitressing and a guy actually stopped his date from trying to tidy a spill saying "it's her job" meaning me. These kind of people are genuinely pricks.

I lost a taillight to an errant cart. Somebody left it sitting randomly at the top of the parking lot, which had a slight slope to it, and it rolled down the hill and landed in the back of my car. At least that's what I assume happened, I didn't see it, but I came out from grocery shopping and found the cart sitting against the back of my car and the taillight bashed in.

I was young, broke, had minimal insurance and couldn't afford a rate increase by making a claim. Car was a cheap POS, but I also didn't want to get ticketed or fail a safety inspection. The new taillight went on my credit card, which took 4 months to pay off.

If you can't put your cart away, at least make sure it's positioned such that it won't roll off into someone's car. You're not the only one struggling.

I did help out some elderly neighbors and neither of the houses I’m referrring to have elderly or sick people in them, in fact one of them has two teenage boys. The other people are a little strange and rarely come outside. Anyway, shovel your sidewalk!
