This is horrible but I know it happens. We know someone bragging that she knows her 5th grader is going to get in. Older sibling goes there. Not that I understand how they rig lottery or just replace kids once they see the list. [/quote]

NP. I will let you know in a couple of weeks. Mom at our school told a whole group the HB principal told her they have a way of making things happen. If her kid gets in or not, will let ya’ll know. [/quote]

I don't think this is true at HB, although I do think its true for other options schools. We are at an option elementary school and there are a lot of teacher's kids that go there. But I know staff at HB that could not get their kid in. [/quote]
