This can also be a good opportunity for players on 2nd and 3rd teams etc. to mix in with teams above (and below) them and get looks they otherwise wouldn't get, play new positions, get a different coaching experience etc. It's HOT in the summer, especially on turf. This can make for an unpleasant experience depending on your kid. Also, some kids just need a break from soccer. So it just depends on what your goals are. [/quote]
