Don't post if you don't understand the biology. IUI is indicated for certain medical conditions, AND CHEAPER. So if you're younger, have all the right hormone levels, but happen to have a known issue with PCOS or physical issues at the tubal level, well, you're going to pick IUI over IVF as a first go-around, aren't you?

I would never waste my time and money with iui. Same with boy pgt testing. The irony is the money you think you're saving and at the end of the day you've just wasted $ and time- which in the fertility world is way more valuable than $. [/quote]

Iui is a much quicker process than IVF.   My iui baby is sleeping happily at the moment.   For iui I recently started letrozole on a Monday,  did iui the following Tuesday and will know 10-14 days later if it worked. Less than a month.  With ivf there often weeks more of testing, Ocp priming, stimulation, then retrieval and pgt testing and then waiting another 1-2 cycles.  So if iui has a chance of working ( aka you just have difficulty ovulating and nothing else)- can be worth a try![/quote]
