No, it wasn't.  first in their class.  36 ACT.  etc. etc. etc. Eagle scout.  He had everything but our family can't afford donations like that.  He was a legacy through me at Harvard.  Triple legacy at Yale, including faculty (tenured) and tenured faculty advocating with admissions.  Didn't help  They don't want white kids from an alleged "privileged bACKGROUND".  HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW THIS?[/quote]

why do you think that is remotely funny?  Many of us went to HYP but can't afford it ($80=$90K a year, and of course no scholarships for us) and we CANNOT afford the kind of donation to the school that makes legacy worthwhile!  how do you not know this?  Ask ANY parent in a private NYC school what the donation level is expected of legacies to make it work for their kids!  It is always 7 to 8 digit donations.  [/quote]m
