Have you seen her play?  I've seen a bunch of girls from the DMV commit to top schools (Duke, UVA etc.).  They will never play at these schools but the parents have big influence at the schools and get them roster spots.  Unfortunately they also blast it all over social media endlessly.  Kid gets to school...ZERO minutes.  Season over.  Soccer career over, but great school.  Not really sure why these top D1 programs want practice players at such a low level...can't be good for the team in the long run.  There are commitment announcement that are earned by great players with athletic scholarships attached to them and there are commits with all types of behind the scenes efforts to make it to the social media blast that is from a soccer perspective "fake".[/quote]

You are off.  No parent has any control over UCLA, Duke, and UVA unless they are billionaires.  Get a grip.  These local kids will in fact play.  Their goal is to go to college.  And play and they will.  You are living in a world that does not exist.[/quote]

check the zero minutes at these schools.  it exists.  it happens every year and NO...they will not play.  politics and money for the prestige of the roster spot at a great school.  and YES the good players will play. we have a bunch of great players from the DMV.  wasn't the point.  [/quote]
