Couple Notre Dame grads here, I see.

Everyone has their biases. It's why you should take everything on here with a grain of salt. I would bet a significant number of the posts on DCUM have similar motivations to this, actually. People post that they hate a certain baby name (because their colleague they hate named their baby that). That they think people who send their kids to daycare are lazy (because they're a SAHM whose sister works and sends kids to daycare, and feels their sister looks down on them). That DCPS is crap and if you send your kid's there, you're an idiot (because their DH hates the city so they are stuck in the burbs and bitter about it). That Rav 4s are crap cars (because their neighbor is a jerk and drives a Rav 4). And so on.

I would be at least 50% of posts on DCUM are motivated in similar ways. Including the posts right above mine here.[/quote]
