The overwhelming majority of daycare workers are women of color, in particular Hispanic women. And the concern expressed by the city council member is for this man with a long history of public nudity/exposing himself (sex crimes), assault, screaming at people, property damage, and harassing the people who live there. No concern for one probably Hispanic woman in the hospital and the other one who refused services. And remember daycare workers make a very low wage. It’s all over twitter and instagram what R&ssell is like.
Just another example of how the far left is super casually misogynistic and classist without even realizing it. I remember reading some really good perspectives from immigrant and POC women when the mentally unstable and “known to the community” Michael Jackson impersonator guy was killed in the altercation on the NYC subway. Basically no one deserves to die in a fight, but they’d all much rather sit next to Daniel Penny and enjoy a quiet subway ride vs. a Jordan Neely and be harassed for money, threatened, or attacked.
