Would it bring you any emotional relief to try to negotiate only two or three days in the office? I don’t know what the optics of that would be like with your coworkers and your boss but maybe worth considering? 
The other thing I think about in situations like this is that there have to be tons of other employees feeling the same way as you. I don’t know how big your organization is, but I’d be very curious to see if other people will be pushing back on this a lot. And, if they are, you can see what other arrangements they have made, etc.
Hang in there, I can understand why you’re feeling this way, just remind yourself that it doesn’t have to be permanent and while it might be slow to make changes in some way, you can probably find some thing that suits you better.[/quote]
