And if it has a good renewal policy, that could be beneficial. Imagine if he had a health condition come up and couldn't get other insurance, then renewing this policy might have been his best option. Not everyone feels the need for whole-life insurance. At a certain point when your minor children are launched and you have retirement savings to cover everything that would need to be covered if you died, it's not really worth paying for life insurance at all.[/quote]
