I don't text my kids during their school day unless it's an emergency and they pretty much do the same for me at my workday. Mine are really distractible, though, so even though the phones aren't supposed to be used during the school day, I didn't want to set a precedent for them to have to think that messages might be waiting for them while they're trying to focus on school.[/quote]
