The middle class with pension income are getting driven out of Florida by high housing costs, property taxes, and insurance costs. I bet the legislature will end up removing the mandate on insurance for condos and let them self-insure all in the name of "freedom." This will buy them a couple more years until the next storm hits and DeSantis will leave it to someone else to clean up the disaster. This really isn't going to end well for lots of seniors in Florida on fixed incomes living in condos.[/quote]
