[/quote] UVA takes students from area high schools like McLean with a GPA>4.4, and the cutoff is not much different for TJ students even though the program is more rigorous at TJ. So a B is a B. It is what it is and I am a parent of a Senior at TJ. To OP: if your kid is willing to go back to the base school, it is likely a better option for college admission. [/quote]
