Dropped it off at Costco only to be told that the warranty is no longer valid as I did not take the car in for tire rotation after 7500 miles. At no point during the original purchase did anyone explain this requirement to me. I definitely feel cheated by this. Won’t be buying any more tires from them.
That is BS - I would definitely shoot a note to customer service.
The first condition of the warranty at the top for the first page of the warranty is:
"You must rotate and balance your tires as outlined by the vehicle manufacturer."
I's still start the arbitration process because paying you is cheaper than going through an arbitration
Anonymous wrote:From my personal experience with Costco tire service for 2 cars (sedan and minivan) in VA,
- Installation took 2 hours each with appointment
- Tire rotation took 1.5 hour with appointment
- They lost one of my wheel-lock nuts (minivan) and didn't tell me. I got the car back around dusk, so didn't notice it until a few weeks after.
- One of the sedan's tires keeps losing air, I have to pump some air every 2-3 days. Took it in, they determined it's the valve, changed it, and a few days later, same problem. I'm dreading about taking it in again due to long wait.
Next time I'll take my car to NTB or one of the other tire places.

Maybe a dumb question but where do you get gas at Costco? I've only ever been to the Pentagon City one and I don't think they have gas?
Most suburbian Costcos have gas.

Um they definitely aren’t. The lines for gas at Costco are so long. Why would you go out of your way to drive to Costco and sit in those long lines just to save $2 on a fill up. Is your time worth so little to you?
